Just curious. I have 6 verigated miscanthus (grass plants). They are a year old this past June.?

I have these wonderful verigated miscanthus (Japanese Grass) They are very young but very healthy. One year old this past June. When could I possibly split them and what season would I do this? Thank you

  1. You can do this in late fall or early spring. These are hardy grasses and are easy to divide. You can always ask a local nursery too as they know your climate well and/or a local Master Gardener too.
