  1. you didnt say to whome these hazards would effect the spectators of the drivers  there are lots of hazards on the track as a driver thats why we try to have saftey devices firesuit helmet gloves nomex fire retatdent protection along with neck brace 5-point seat belts to hold us into position if car rolls over or hard impacts keep us in our specialy designed racing seats and we are also protected by a cage built around us incase of being hit by another car or crashing hard spectators have a catch fence with thick cables running threw them to keep cars and parts from comming threw and hitting the fans the safest place to sit is ussually on the straight aways cause during a race if your sitting in a turn and the car hits the wall there in the turn it can splatter hot liquid and or parts up into the air and land in the stands none of these saftey devices are full proof thats why some drivers have been killed in racing i personelly have seen cars and parts fly into the stands and hurt spectators so sitting up high in the bleachers is also away to stay safe down low you will be getting hit by tires rubber sand and such its a good idea to wear glasses and hearing protection sitting down low but i like being close to the action hope this helped ya understand what your in for ive seen people killed on and off the track and its not a pretty site so you should allways pay attention to whats going on during the races incase you have to take invasive action like getting the h**l out of the way the dangers are allways there for the driver and for the spectator if you read your ticket stub it clearly states that the track ins not resonsable for for your saftey or are they liable

  2. the racing industry is very safety conscience.

from just traveling to a place to race, unloading the vehicle and even working on it, involves risk.

on the track, the tires are all lined so if they lose tread, the driver is able to have a controlled stop,

fuels and additives are another factor and you see fire extinguishers everywhere on a track.

noise of the vehicles destroys the hearing of works so they have head phones that reduce the noise.

working in the pits with cars coming in, and pulling out are very dangerous and pit crew workers do get hurt or die when working.

rescue personnel have been crushed, or killed during rescues when vehicles go out of control

    the list is endless

you need to understand that these folks work hard, using the latest advances in technology to solve these problems

some go to the races to see a bad crash, but most go to celebrate a winner, and a good race is when none are injured.

  3. Actually less hazardious than driving on the roads. With proper supervision Race tracks can be fun fast place to learn how to high performance drive your car. Just a word of cautuon an old poorly maintained car won't hold up to abuse like a brand  new car. And most of all drivers school really helps to know the dynamics of car control before being out on the track. You don't have to race.

  4. Just about anything from a tire coming off a car to a car exploding, different hazards for different tracks...but today's racing have so many safety checks that they go through that in reality there are not that many......
