Just curious if anyone can interpret this dream?

In my dream my 7 year old son had to go live with my sister for a while (not sure why). She is a very good mother, so I'm not sure why I dreamed this, but I hadn't seen my son in a few weeks & when she finally brought him to visit in the middle of the summer he was wearing a sweater, a coat & a winter hat. He was all sweaty & sleeping in the middle of the day & she laid him in my arms & I started to cry. He woke up & I asked him if he wanted to come live with mommy again & his eyes got real big & he wrapped his arms tightly around my neck & we both started crying. Could this have anything to do with him going back to school? I have 3 other children & they were not in the dream. I thought it was very weird??

  1. You may need to review how you spread you attention equally amoung your children, subconciously, you may feel you have been unequal.

You may have concern that he may feel it also. Obviously, you know the truth, that you love them all, this is manifested in the answer to your question to him.

  2. its your choise

  3. Your son is the only one for whom you were parent and teacher, except for any activities you might have also done with your daughter pre-kindergarten right?

And he has certain needs you feel you are the only one to understand right?

Not sure where your sister plays into it, but he is "living" somewhere else as he spends at least as many waking hours getting ready for and traveling to and attending school as he does with you. You're worried that they will do their best but handle him inappropriately, doing something that to you will be as obviously a mistake as dressing him in winter clothes on a summer day.

You've both been anxious about the separation.

You feel that he will one day come home, bewildered as he would be in a winter coat, and want to come back home to homeschool him.

It doesn't mean you should do that, it means that as I'm sure you know, your dreams are your subconscious putting together your fears and desires in a puzzle. Your desire is to have your son with you. You made a decision that seemed best at the time. You are afraid he will not be handled right.

Like I said, dreams are a puzzle of your inner thoughts. It does not mean you have to act on them. You can't act on every thought that pops into your head after all, and not every subconscious puzzle either.

  4. Your child is growing up and you feel like he is more independent and might not need you as much as in the past.  You want to let him grow but you don't want to lose your relationship with him.  It could have to do with him going back to a new grade in school.  Him crying is your interpretation that even though he may be getting more independent you know he still needs you.

  5. Can you tell me what duration of time you saw this dream, as in Hindu mythology Dreams watched closer to morning tends to happen true or has something to do with Reality. it is a very strong belief and even i have seen it worked. so if it was something between 4 AM to 6 AM then it might have something to do with reality else you dont need to worry
