Just downloaded Civilization 4 from ebgames.com, having some problems?

Question

I waited 14 hours for civ. 4 to download on my computer, because i have slow download speed. then when i try to open it the circle cursor thing spins for about 10 minutes and it asks if i want to run the set up i click yes and it says the game wasnt installed properly but now it doesnt say anything after i click set up. i dont know what to do.
