What would you suggest I do? I'm about to head over now.

They said they would do a diagnostic that would cost $50...

I've been reading questions on here suggesting its the reverse light switch. Is there anything else it could be?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

  1. It can only be a few things.  Blown fuse, check fuses with a circuit tester, if the fuse is good you get the light on both sides of the fuse.

Check the bulbs.  Sometimes they look good but aren't, so replace to make sure.

If the fuse and bulbs are good, that leaves the switch.  Adjust or replace.

If still no go, look for broken wires or bad grounds.

  2. maybe it,s the fuse. if not, then it must be the sending unit. also it could be a bad ground back there.

  3. Check the relays, or the fuses.
