2. They couldn't reverse the aging process. 3. The rest of science, technology, and the world was about the same as it is today. 4. It is impossible to commit suicide. 5. Even if you were burned into ashes or cut up into a thousand pieces, your mind would still be trapped in what remained of your body. 6. You can choose the age at which you want your aging process to cease. 7. After you cease to age, you will live for a predetermined number of years and then die. 8. You get to choose how many years that will be, and after you choose you can't change your mind.

The questions are: 1. How many years would you choose to live, and why? (choose any finite number from one to 110 billion [or more]) 2. How old would you want to be when you stop aging, and why? (How old are you now?)

  1. Hmmm.... I think I would wish to cease my "physical" body to stop aging at 30. That way I am still old enough to look like I am not a child, but young enough to have the physical stamina to do a lot.

I would like to live to 100 years old. Not a huge step in what is possible today, but I would like to see my children and grandchildren grow.  At least if I choose 100 years I would not fear that I decided to live too long and be stuck in this life that I did not wish to live anymore (if that is ever even possible) and you stated suicide would not be possible, so that would be just miserable.

  2. i would choose to live forever, because what is the point in age extension if you are going to die anyways ?

i would stop aging at 30 because it gives you time to mature mentally and physically, giving you a mind and body worth having for more than just a few years.

  3. I want to stop aging at 36 because I am old enough to know what I want and young enough to forgive myself for it and still be beautiful and fit. I choose to die at 70 because I have a deep intuition that everything of interest to me will have been covered at that perfect time. There are endless amounts of learning yet open to me when I reach 70 but you did not mention an endless ability to retain memories.
