Just for fun .. boy or girl?

Question

Went for 16 week appt today. Heartrate was 140bpm and sounded more like a train than a horse ... lol (apparently thats what you listen for). Finding out in 3 weeks but just wondered what people think. Have had no symptoms really apart from being tired and having a few headaches. No cravings either but have taken a liking to any soup .. lol.

If you are huge! It's a boy! Sounds silly but every time I had a boy I was huge (in pregnancy) and the daughter just 26 pounds added.

hmmmmm....... i think it may be a boy. but if you have bad acne and your carrying high and you crave sweet stuff then maybe its a gal .

I say boy :) They used to try to determine (or guess) the s*x of babies by their heartrates b4 they had ultra sounds and anything under 160 is supposed to be a boy and above that is a girl. I have 3 boys and all of them had heartrates in the 140 and 150's. i am pregnant now and the heartrate is 180 WOOT..so I am hoping this old wives tale is true :)

Something else that has worked for myself with all my pregnancies and all my friends and family that I have tried this on (my sister even planned her little girl by using this method) You have to know exactly the month you concieved. Take the number of the month you concieved and your age at the time of conception and add them together..if it is an even number it is a girl and if it is odd then it is a boy.

Example..you got pregnant in February and you were 25 yrs old

take 2(for february) + 25 and that equals 27 which is odd and means a boy

Just some fun things to try to see if they are right :)

Soup has lots of sodium in it and if you crave salt then it is a boy too..looks like a boy!!! :)

When the doctor and nurses listened to my first baby's heartbeat, it was high, so they always guessed it was a girl, but the ultra-sounds always showed boy- and that's what he is. Despite all of this, I'm still guessing boy.

lets see my baby has a real fast heart beat and i had no symptom's this whole pregnancy I'm having a girl:) so i was told :) it is what i wanted :)

They say that 140 and below is a boy and 141 and above is a girl... but that is just an old wives tale.  There is no medical documention or proof that links fetal heartrate to gender... but for  $hit$ and giggles... www.babyzone.com has a fun little quiz... I take these all the time. I am 8 months, but we elected to keep it a surprise... but its still fun to see how all the results come back.

boy, but for fun, look up gender prediction tests online and see what results you get. It was wrong for all 3 of mine.

my son was 156 and he was a he!! heheh it makes no difference until the birth there is a great website  where just for fun you answer loads of questions and it gives you a percentage according to old wives tails .. I have a feeling your having a girl but then again I have a feeling Im having a girl heheh so it might be rubbing off .. good luck
