I've always loved physics, but have always wanted to be a doctor. I didn't take biology for my a levels because i didn't want to learn anymore about plants, but now when applying to uni's there are a lot more uni's open to me, if i have biology. However, i think i've made my decision, but i'm jsut curious to know what the rest of the world thinks...

either i could do as biology next year while i take my three other or four other a2's .. and then just go straight into medicine, however i'd be doing this with the year below, and some on my own...

option two, is to do a physics degree three years, and then go for graduate level medicine. For this, i only need to get a 2.1 to then apply for medicine.. This would take 7 years, where going straight to medicine takes 6 years...

what do you think??

  1. Biology is a big factor in studing Medicine and if You havn't pursued Biology during pre-university schooling days then you might find it little hard to catch up now. Overall, it seems you are good in Physics and it is your favourite subject as well. So, I will suggest you go with Physics since, You can do and accomplish a whole lot much more compared to in Medicines.

    Good Luck !
