  1. tell her your on antibiotics and they dont work if you drink. your baby comes first now x

  2. Make something up like your on antibitotics for a throat infection o a cough or something and you can't take alcohol as it will interfere with the antibiotics

  3. do you realize that the longer you wait to tell your sister, the more upset it will make her when you finally do break the news to her and she realizes that you've been keeping it from her?

I had that problem with both my sisters.  I was incredibly hurt when I found out she didn't tell me when I thought we could trust each other with everything, especially when I found out that my youngest sister was pregnant at the same time and she didn't tell me either.

Just tell her, she'll find out soon enough anyway, and it would be an incredible B-day present to her.  Share the excitement of the new baby with your family!

  4. Firstly - congrats on your pregnancy - you are in for a wonderful time :)

I would suggest go along to the party. DO NOT DRINK - the first trimester is the most important one. Make sure they are not around when you order your drinks. If having cocktails - ask the bartender if they serve virgin cocktails. They look the same, taste the same, they just don't have the same punch. Otherwise stick to soda's. If confronted - just tell the truth but put a twist on it saying that you did not want to ruin her birthday (as it is her day) with your news. Who knows - your sister might be thrilled for you and insist on a double celebration.

    Good luck :)

  5. Tell her you have an infection and are on antibiotics, and not allowed to drink.

  6. You could say that you are on antibiotics which you can't mix with alcohol as they react together and make you very ill. These are commonly given for infections - so you could have an ear infection or throatinfection or something like that?

  7. tell your sister that you are on antibiotics.

  8. any type of medication. you should think of whats "wrong" with you first

  9. i used the antibiotics one.   said it was for a sore throat.

  10. there nothing he can give you just have virgin drinks and dont let her know what you orderd thats the best i can think of sorry...congrats on the baby

  11. you can say you are taking pain killers like tylenol for a tooth ache. go out have a good time and order virgin drinks.

    have fun

  12. you cant drink when you are given antibiotics? i dont know what illness you could come up with though!!

Or you could offer to drive

Or you could say you have work early the next day

Or Have to get up really early for some reason

  13. you can go another day when the baby is out

  14. you could say antibiotics but if not just make up having to go for a blood test for anaemia or something and you cant drink alcohol  for a week incase it interferes with the results?

    congratulation btw xx

  15. just go out with her anyway and on the way there tell her all of a sudden you dont feel good and that your stomach was acting up a little the day before and hopefully shell just leave it at that or say you have a stomach virus

  16. Just tell her you don't feel well and don't go out.

She'll be mad, but when you finally tell her your news, she'll be just fine! I promise!

  17. Tell her you have some sort of infection and you're being treated with antibiotics. Your doctor has warned that you must not drink while taking them.

I used all sorts to get out of drinking - too hungover from night before, too tired, on medication... anything I could get away with!

  18. tell everyone you are on antibiotics NO drinking

  19. hi, i understand how you don't want no one to know just yet, I'm in the same boat and iam carrying number 2 lol. anyways just tell your sister your not well and say the doctor has put me on meds cause i have a viral infection. good luck and congrats new mummy to be.

  20. Hi there just say you think you have a urine infection that way you can either say you are on antibiotics and cant drink it will also help with going to the toilet frequently if your already doing that also drinking only soft drinks or water helps with this so they wont suspect a thing and its a habit we have of holding or touching our tummys when we know so if they see you doing this they will think its just from a slight niggle or pain hope this helps

  21. don't drink!! put the safety of ur baby before anything else please

    xx

  22. Tell her you've got an infection and the doctor has put you on strong anti-biotics that will make you spew big time if a single drink passes your list. There are anti-biotics like that so she'll have a hard time disproving it !

  23. I would say that my stomach is upset. Tell her your on percocet or vicodin. Then tell her that not only should you not drink on those,,,tell her it made you ill. So your nauseous and don't want to drink. Good luck. I personally wouldn't have been able to hide it. I promised myself when I got pregnant this time I wouldn't tell anyone till after 13 weeks because I had just had a miscarriage over V-day. But I told the second I found out because I was so excited. Good luck trying to hide it.

  24. make out you have a virus, phone her up the night before and tell her how groggy you feel,

then when you turn down a tipple she won't question it, she'll just be glad you made it.

  25. just say you have a throat infection and your on penicillin , as your not meant to drink while your taking penicillin as it stops it working

  26. Tell her you are on antibiotics  so you can't drink

  27. I had this situation very recently. It was my friends Hen Night. I had one glass of Champagne and sipped it slowly. An hour or so later most of my friends were drunk and didn't even notice that I wasn't drinking!!! The ones who did, I just said I didn't feel too great and didn't want to upset my stomach.

If you don't make a huge deal out of it then they are less likely to suspect anything.

    All the best
