Well i took the EPT test and its positive, i was late on my period so i knew it was accurate. Plus im having pregnancy symptoms. my offical pregnancy test at the dr is tomorrow. BUT I am having cramping...why?!

Is it just because everything is moving and expanding in there? or something diffrent?

  1. i dont know but for sure if it gets very painful go to the ER and have it checked out - this doesnt sound normal to me at all

  2. cramping is completely normal. You will probably have it most of your pregnancy. Right now it is most likely the egg implanting into your uterus, but later on it will be everything moving around and getting bigger. As long as your not bleeding you are perfectly fine.

  3. During early pregnancy you have period like cramps.  Good luck!

  4. I just came from the OB and was discussing this with him. He told me that cramping in early pregnancy is normal and is due to the uterus expanding and preparing to carry the baby. He told me if the cramping was similar to menstrual cramps (mild to moderate) and not accompanied by any bleeding that this was perfectly normal. If you do have bleeding or severe intense cramps, then I would call the doctor. He recommended that I make sure to drink enough fluids as the uterus is a muscle and when you are not properly hydrated it can cause more muscle cramping.

  5. its really normal!!!! I think its due to the fluid in your abdomen, and they will increase a bit the first month your pregnant. After that you'll get a lot of pulling sensations in the lower and upper belly. That is due to round ligament pain, where your uterus is growing! This is normal. I know it feels like a period coming but its not! your creating a little one and your body wil go through sooooo many changes. congrats!

  6. More than likely it is because of all the changes that your body is going through. As long as it is not severe cramping and you are not bleeding then everything should be fine. Alot of changes are going on in your stomach making room for baby and so some cramping is perfectly normal.

  7. Cramps, especially in the first months are totally normal as long as they are not too severe and you do not have any bleeding. Your body it changing so much and has to adjust.

  8. You'll probably have cramping throughout -- esp. if this is your first.  Your uterus is stretching like it's never had to before.  It's normal
