Just got Hermit Crabs?

Question

I put them in there cage the put the cage on the ground. My dog sits there and stares anything else i should know about hermit crabs?

They need a humid environment. Place plastic wrap on top of their tank (under the lid) and cut a bunch of slits in it. They also need fresh FILTERED water to drink. Provide shells bigger in size so when they outgrow theirs they have a bigger one to overtake. Also there is specific food for them that you can pick up at any pet supplies store, if you have not already. Hermit crabs LOVE to climb so put some sticks in their tank. Have fun! they are good little creatures and can actually live for a long time (up to 7 years!)
