  1. bluetooth your cellphone... some can talk to each other without the cell tower....


  2. Don't buy junk! You might google J & M cycle equipment in Tucson Arizona. They manufacturer OEM for BMW so their products are well known and tested. I'll bet the $ results are the same.

  4. We just bought a less expensive J&M set and put them in our helmets.  You will need the adapter cord, $15-20?  This allows us to talk to each other as driver and passenger.  It also allows us to listen to the radio and talk to other riders on the CB.

  5. You need to figure out first if you want to communicate with just your passenger or others riding bikes.  I have a Nady system that works pretty well for the money.  Its compatible with FRS and there are lots of less expensive options out there that work with FRS.  Be sure and get something that is comfortable, it can numb the ear after a while. Look at Nady for a low buck solution.
