  1. It means that you have to go into your computers control panel and adjust your computers monitor to a higher resolution.  There will be a required resolution listed somewhere on the software or in the instructions that came with your camera.

In most cases a screen resolution of 1280×1024 will work just fine.  If you have an older computer, you may be only able to set your monitor to 1024x768 which should be good enough for the Canon software

  2. It sounds like the computer is saying your graphics aren't compatible with the disk. Try calling the support line for the camera or your computer. It could be a software compatibility issue. Or the disk you got with the camera isn't good.

  3. 1. Click "Start" lower left corner of your computer screen.

    2. Click on "Control Panel"

    3. Double click on "Display"

    4. Click on "Settings" tab

    5. Slide "Screen Resolution" tab one notch to thr right to "1024 x 768"

    6. Click "OK".  That should do it.
