I just got a Correctional Ticket for having a Black covering over my license plate. The cop told me that i just need to take off the black covering and get it signed off and i wont have to pay the fine. Is that true?

  1. yes, its called a warning do it or it could turn into a citation then a warrant then your license...if your licensed in that state

  2. What you received is called a "fix it" ticket. Take care of the situation, find a cop and show him the ticket and how you fixed it, He will sign off on the correction. Mail it in and it is over with.

Word of advice. Once corrected, DONT put it back on again. It is on record and a repeat of it would not give you a fix it ticket. It would get expensive.

Best of luck and I hope this is useful to you.
