Just got a new acer laptop but no disc came with it how do i recover from a disaster without vista disc?

bought from amazon should i contact them for a disc or acer new to pcs HELP PLEASE or can i copy the information to create a dice from laptop to make a recovery disc ie get pc back to how its original state

Turn off our laptop. Turn back on immediately push the alt key and f10 key at the same time. The laptop will boot into the recoverey mode.Acer hides the original installation files in a hidden partition on your hard drive
