Now since I got a reckless driving ticket, if it doesn't get marked down to a negligent driving ticket, can I still get a license in another state? My current license is California, but I'm living in Washington and had a WA license from before.. Since I didn't have my id on me when I got ticketed, the cop used my WA one since it was still valid on the computer... One does that effect my Cali license? and two if I wanted to move to Colorado, could I still get a license there? or would they back track and not let me because of my reckless driving ticket?

  1. If you're caught driving in Cali, on any license, and your Cali DL shows as suspended in the computer, you'll get a "driving on a suspended" cite (14601CVC). $$$$

As far moving to other states, they typically see that it's suspended and figure out why. DUI, failure to appears, no insurance, etc...

BTW, the question is a little confusing.

  2. every ones license is in a database so what you do in one state is accessible by the police in another.
