I just got a ring need some help,

What finger should I wear it one,

Is it ok to wear it on another finger, when should I take it off?

I say you should wear it on your index finger and remove it whenever your going to wet your finger. [shower,swimming,washing hands, etc.]

dnt wear it on ur thumb, pinky, or left ring finger (u dnt want ppl 2 think ur married!! lol) wear it on ur middle finger ur ring finger. take it off when u play sports, sleep, and r swimmin or in the shower.

As long as it doesn't look like a wedding ring, I honestly don't think it matters what finger you wear it on. I would suggest wearing your ring on your right hand on the third finger. But don't wear it on your thumbs or your left hand, wedding ring finger. That way, no one will mistakenly think that you are married. And I've never thought rings were attractive when they are worn on the first finger. Your middle finger or third finger would probably be the best.

Women have right hand rings that they wear opposite their wedding ring finger, so it should look just fine on a man, too.

And depending on what your ring is made out of might be helpful in knowing when to take it off. But I always take my good or expensive jewelry off before going to bed, taking a shower, before swimming, playing sports, or anywhere that it can possibly get lost or damaged without you knowing it.

Make sure you know what kind of metal it is made out of because there are two basic types of jewelry cleaners that you could use... Yellow gold jewelry cleaner and silver or costume jewelry cleaner. Or you can just clean it with a soft, old toothbrush and equal parts of ammonia and water and wipe it dry with a very soft cloth afterwards. An ammonia and water solution is pretty much what most jewelry cleaner is made up of. It will keep your ring looking shiny and new if you take good care of it and clean it when it looks dirty or about once every two weeks.

However, if you clean a silver ring in gold jewelry cleaner, it can wear the finish right off. It sure has happened to me a few times. Anyway, I thought you need this information later on after you have worn your ring for a while.

All fingers are good except the one that means you are married and the thumbs. If you really like the ring, wear it all the time.

but basically, depending on the size, color, type of ring, etc, you can wear it on any finger/thumb you want, and whenever you want.
