  1. whatever you do never use neosporing, thats to use on cuts and things and my tattoo artisit highly advised me nott to use it on my wrist tattoo or on the one on my neck.

  2. You can use Curel. =]

  3. v and d ointment... thats what they told my dad and my sister to use...

  4. My tattoo artist told me to use cocoa butter on my tatt...try that.

  5. just use bacitracin... its like neosporin w/o the zinc (the zinc draws out the colors)... it will help it heal and keep it from itching

  6. when i got my wrist tat i left the bandage there for 6 hours, cleaned it with mild soap then put some bacitracin i used it for 4 days and my tattoo healed up nicely.

I got a foot tattoo not to long ago and this tat artist told me to use Lubederm and I did for 2 weeks and it sucked all the ink from my tat out so now I have a pale tat on my foot

sometimes its good to go by what your tattoo artist says but sometimes its not

  7. You can use any lotion that is fragrance and aloe free. I'm using Moisturel on mine right now (right inner wrist) and it's healing up great. I've also used the Target brand of the fragrance/aloe free Lubriderm and that's worked well for me in the past.

As long as the Eucerin is fragrance and aloe free lotion, I don't think you should have a problem with it, just flip the bottle over and read the ingredients.

If it can be avoided though, you should really try to stay away from anything that is petroleum based or in ointment form. The tattoo needs to breathe in order to heal properly and the ointment stifles this process.

But whatever you use, only use a teenie tiny bit, don't slather it all up or anything. Enough for a barely visible coat over the tattoo is more than enough. Thin enough for someone else to look at and not be able to tell what you put on it, just that the tattoo is 'moist'.

Sorry, it's hard to describe, just don't use a lot...LOL.

The bottom line though is to listen to what your artist tells you, they know whats going to help the tattoo look its best after its healed.

    Good Luck Hun :-)

  8. I would just use what the artist told you to use hes the professional

  9. No. use Lubriderm. If the artist told you do use a specific brand, then you should use it to prevent any irritation or something. Good luck! :)

  10. This lotion is much more gel like, not like lotion. I would not recommend it for your tattoo. Great for dry skin though.  I used just cheap reg lotion on mine and I was all fine in a week.

  11. It's preferred that you use lubederm, but you can use eucerin.

  12. as long as it isn't scented it should be okay

  13. yes!!
