  1. Considered non-poisonous but they can pinch; capable of spraying a mist from scent glands at the base of the tail when disturbed. The mist produced by our species contains 85% concentrated acetic acid or vinegar, hence the name "vinegaroon

  2. jump into a salad

  3. I found your question interesting mainly because I have never heard of a  'vinegaroon' before so I have learned something new today.

I had to give 'byderule' a thumbs up for his answer, I'm still in stitches.

However, to relieve any pain you would want to use a base substances like baking soda to neutralize the stinging.

Just some additional(hopefully useful) information for dealing with wasp and bee stings.

Bee stings contain an acid and is neutralized in the same manner.

Wasp stings are alkaline based and are neutralized using an acid like vinegar.

So if you don't have any baking soda you might want to catch a wasp and get it to sting you on the affected bite!

I wouldn't do this myself because it probably will only cause more pain anyway.(I have enough pains at my time of life anyway).

If you are allergic to the venom then you should get to a hospital ASAP!

Otherwise the pain will just subside soon.
