Just got braces a week ago.

And everyone told me it was gonna hurt like crazy after but still hasn't does this mean it wont hurt at all?

nope, the pain will kick in sooner or late. Give it some time. Trust me

They will hurt after you get them tightened and start to wear rubber bands.  Yes they will hurt.  I have been there, done that.

I got braces two years ago. At first, they didn't hurt, and I was happy. Then, a month later, I got them tightened. It hurt the first 3 days, and then the pain slowly starts to go away. Once you have rubber bands, it does hurt. A lot. But it depends on how the rubber bands are positioned. It takes about 1-2 weeks for the pain to go away.

Because it doesn't hurt now, it doesn't mean that it isn't gonna hurt later on. Just wait it out, and see what happens. If the pain does come, and it hurts, take some tylenol, or some other pain killer.

Good luck with your braces. It may hurt, but the result is worth it.(:
