  1. Will it get easier to put them in and take them out?- Definitely! When I got contacts for the first time, it took me about and HOUR AND A HALF to put them in! Now, it only takes about 2 seconds per eye.

Inside Out- If you have Acuvue contacts, look closely on the side. If it says "123" they are right. If it says "321" backward, then it is inside out. Other brands you can tell by looking at the lens. If it is round like a bowl, it is right. If it is round, and then flat on the edges, it is inside out.

tricks and hints- DONT PUT THEM IN YOUR MOUTH! Your mouth is a BREEDING GROUND to bacteria. Your eyes are very sensitive to bacteria, so don't put them in your mouth. Put a small bottle of rewetting drops in your purse or backpack at school incase you get something in your eyes. This will flush what ever debris is there, and it won't get stuck under your lens and risk scratching your eye.

    GOOD LUCK!

  2. It depends on what kind of contacts you have. Some will look different along the edges, which will show you which side is in and which side is out.

Of course, you need to consider the fact that you're new to having contacts, so it might take you a while you become an expert at putting them in. If they continue giving you trouble, then return to your eye doctor and ask for a thicker or thinner lens. If you don't want to do that, then simply ask what you can do to make it easier to put them in.

    Best of luck!

  3. Calm down and be patient. It'll take time and I believe you can go through with this! Give yourself at least a week.

You can tell my two ways -

    1. Some brands have "123" on them... if you look carefully. If they say "321", they're inside-out. Wearing them like that will cause extreme discomfort and you won't be able to see clear.

    2. If you hold onto the contact(s), and the bottom edge seems to be droppy/dangly, then it's the right way. However, if it's large and round and appears to look solid, then it's inside-out.

Hope this helps and good luck! :)

  4. No tips or tricks, just practice.  You'll get the hang of it and it will go much quicker as you get used to the idea of a finger and lens so close to your eye.  I can do mine one handed and without a mirror now but I've been wearing them for 20+ years.

  5. Yes, over time they will eventually get easier to put in and out. That is, if you practice everyday of course. The way I can tell if mine are inside out is that the lenses have a 123 embedded in them and if it's 321 then, I can they're inside out. Also, you can tell they're inside out by the shape of it too. Don't worry though, you just got them.
