Just got my SAT results for my first time taking it...need honest opinions?

Question

I got a 540 in critical reading

a 510 in math

and a 460 in writing

i know my writing sucks i got a 5 on the essay but i blame that on my question it was just totally weird

you asked for honest opinions so....to me, they're pretty bad. I probably have higher academic standards though (i got a 1950 in 8th grade so yeah.) but for you, it depends. 550 is the national average, so it looks like you're just about 50% for CR, a little less for math, and around 100 points less on writing. It really depends on what college you want to go to though. I got a 2300 (790 m, 770 cr, and 740 w with 11 essay) and I think that's bad. But if you want to go to a college where your scores are in the mid 50 percentage or higher, then you're good.

I just took my SAT's too and I got a 1800. A 660 in Math, a 580 in Reading and a 560 in Writting. Your score is average. If I was to be honest you should retake it.
