Question:

Just got my hair perma-straightened. Looks frizzy, what do I do? :(?

Okay, so normally my hair is curly but I straighten it always. Usually every other day, because I only shower every other day (sensitive skin).

This is my hair curly, the picture is from a few minutes after I took a shower, so its wet looking. Also, when it dries, it gets really stupid and frizzy which is why I straighten it normally.

Now, a couple of days ago I got a perm. They only used a relaxer, not the japanese dead-straight kind of perm. So I've never gotten one before, and didnt know what to expect. Now, I went to the salon I always go to. Its not some crappy little hair place, its a $125 a cut, and my usual stylist has cut Avril Lavigne's hair once.

In short, its a really good place.

But when I got my hair permed, it was fine on the actual day of the perm. But now, after I've showered (I wasnt allowed to wash my hair for 2days) and blow dried it, it looks like c**p! Its okay (note: not great, okayy...) immediately after I've blow dried it. And I even straightened a few pieces because they didnt dry straight. But now, its just turned into this frizzy, kinky mess.

I'm so pissed off right now.

Is there some sort of product I'm supposed to use? I dont see the people again for another few weeks (when I'm getting it cut).

Please, pleeeassseee help.

Thankyou,

x Caroline

  1. i definetly think you need to go back to the salon, and fast.

if your hair didn't come out the way you wanted, it's their fault and it's their responsibility to fix it.

and your hair was pretty curly!

  2. Id use an anti frizz serum like loreal or something but is deffinately shudnt have gone like that   =/

  3. try some Biosilk oil, just a coulple drops ,rub hands together and smooth over hair

  4. Your not supposed to wash for 3 days and you can't let water touch or sweat during those period. After 3 days you have to go back to the hair dresser and let them wash it and put in some oil that protects your hair and then you can take a shower. And if you blow dry it of course it'll look frizzy just let it dry on it's own.

  5. Go back to your hairdresser, but until then get sum anti frizz shampoo and sum strong conditioner
