K so everything's set-up on my aquarium except for the glass lid..

Here are the parts:

4 pieces of glass

2 white strips

4 black strips

....

Now what do I do? I have no idea... and it didn't come with instructions.

P.S. It's a miracle aquarium (65 gallons), I don't know if that helps

  1. the glass pices the white strips and the black strips are called a versa top

the glass is connected to gather 2 pices of glass with the black strip knowen as the hinge strip it will allow for the opening and closeing of the front pice of glass the white strip is attached to the back to close off the opening at the back of the tank and can be cut so that you can fit a filter at the back of the tank and for an cords that need a way out the back of the tank

  2. Usually there are strips to join the pieces of glass together and then 2 strips to put on the ends.  Maybe they gave you one extra joining strip?

  3. There should be 2 smaller pieces of glass and 2 larger. The 2 smaller pieces are for the front where you lift the lid. There should be a plastic piece, probably the 2 white strips, which bends, and that should go in between the 2 pains of glass. Slide them on. Then there should be another couple of strips that go on the back which attach to the larger pieces of glass. Then you should have some kind of pieces for the handle, if you have those, attach them to the front of the smaller pain of glass. Then your lid should fit on the tank, with the bendy side allowing you to lift up  the lid. If the pains of glass are the same size then just omit having to put the glass in specific places.
