Just got my results and achieved AAA, and my family dont even say well done? why are they so annoying?

I worked so flipping hard to get those marks. And my parents are just like 'oh right what did everyone else get?' and 'so that means you can do what you wanted right? thats good i guess'

Then my grandad is like 'oh i thought you were doing more Alevels than that, three As isnt really very much at all is it'

aarrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhh whats with these people?!

maybe they just know how smart you are and so wouldn't have expected anything less, so in fact are paying you a compliment..?

i think in your grandad's case the system's just totally different from anything he'll have experienced so he doesn't know how it all works...
