Just got my x-rays and have a 5th metacarpal fracture (Boxer's Break)?

Has anyone used a splint versus a cast. The fracture looks very slight. Needless to say I do not want a cast...

  1. Ask the physician if a splint is an option. With a splint, you may need to be more careful with your hand.
