Just got new digital tv can not recorded digital programs only mono on my digital recorder any ideas?

Connect everything up with scart leads and then it should play back in stereo

You must connect all your equipment with good quality scart leads

use a svideo output if u got one, or hd out, rca, if u got the leads in right, and u set it all up, go over it all agin, best thing unplug restep, there can only be a fault withit, take it back to shop

Not sure I understand you.   OK Digital TV ...presume it works ok.   So your DVD recorder , will record .  what?   Mono refers to sound,  as opposes to stereo.   Presoume you mean analogue,   the 5 channels you get via a conventional aerial,   Either the settings of your recorder need altering.  Does it have an AV  selector.  And are your scart connections in order?  Read and check both instruction books.
