Just got our new home i want to make the value go up, where do i start.?

dont want to put or do 2 much. the house is 10 years old so its not that old it has a big yard front& back. we will be liveng in it no more then 6 years.

There called fruit trees,  and they bring up the value of any land and property...

Landscaping is a key selling point. Curb appeal sells the house before the interior is seen. Neutral decorating with neutral colors and accessorizing your qualities, such as drapes and plants. A staged house sells for 25% more than an empty house so keep it uncluttered and clean. Draw attention to the special features of the house without becomming too personal.

Get a life. The value will go up on its own. Are you that money  hungry? Life is more important and enjoying it

Watch one of the Flip that House shows on TLC, or HGTV, whatever. They show what they did and how much added value that step was. IE, putting hardwood florrs added $2,000 to a house. Stuff like that, I know they would focus on yards, kitchens, and floors.

New paint EVERYWHERE.

How is the hardwood/carpet/tiles/linoleum?  

Counters and cabinets in great shape?

MODERNIZE that m**o!

Oh, and LANDSCAPING!

You're gonna have to do a few things to it to increase the value.
