  1. Get  your @ss in a bath tub full of of hot as you can stand it bath watter and   s o a k !!!

  2. sit down on the floor and tuck your feet under neath your bu*t and lay back. if this is uncomfortable, try standing up close to a wall and holding up the hurting leg and pull towards your front as far as possible... i am in vball tryouts and am experiencing the same, but hold it for as long as possible. it works.

by the way, its called a quadricep/quad muscle

  3. When I get muscle cramps it means I'm not getting enough potassium.  I suggest eating a banana before working out and one after working out.  Also make sure you drink lots of fluid, like water.  Don't drink Gatorade, that stuff is a cramp in a bottle.  Also, get in a cold water bath tub and sit for about 15 mintues after working out, it will sting at first (because of the cold water) but after that your legs with warm up to the water and it well help reduce soreness/pain.

  4. muscle rub stretching

  5. Muscle cramps are often caused by a drop in potassium.  Bananas are a good source of potassium.

As suggested above, a hot bath will also help.

  6. Here's some things you can do:

Stretch before AND after practice, that is VERY important

Drink LOTS of water and stay hydrated

Try a heat pad and place it on your thighs

    Take a nice hot bath

    Massage your legs

    Stretch, stretch, stretch!!

If you don't stretch you can get major cramps/soreness.

  7. walk around and drink Gatorade.

  8. Oh geeze.. I feel you right now. I had volleyball camp like 3 weeks ago and we practiced 8hours a day for 4 days!!! And I couldnt even go sit on a toilet! Here's what you should do

    -stretch every chance you get

    -drink a lot of water

    -take advil or tylenole

-My coach told me eating bananna helps. IDK WHY

-Take a bath. People say that you should take it a hot bath, but I take cold baths. It like wakes up the muscles and for some reason, I feel better afterwards.
