Just got the Cabelas Pine Ridge .17 Tactical Scope for my Savage 93R17...good choice?

Well I don't really know much about that scope, and I haven't shot the gun yet, but I will soon. So anyone who has that scope, is it very good with you?

And I also read that the scope, which is a tactical, was supposed to work with Hornady .17 gr. So if my rifle shoots best with .20 gr, would it still "work"/shoot fine?

From my experience 20gr. bullets don't shoot much different than the 17gr. The 17gr. shoots a little flatter but out to about 130 yards it wont make much of a difference. I have a savage 93r17 bvss so you made a good choice .  Have fun!
