Just got word 2007 what is the best book to help me get started?

Everything has been totally moved around from previous versions.  That colored logo in upper left is known as the ribbon icon.  That has menus for loading/saving files, printing, and default program settings.  For other things just practice things you normally do and try to figure out where those features are now, or consult Help.

It depends on if you want it for free...find out what your local Library has, or ask them to order from a sister Library WORD 2007.

You will need a book that has actual practice in the teaching.

Call your local Tech College Book Store, and find out which book the college is using for it's students.

Mind you WILL be devoting several hours a week to learning the neat things this powerful proram can do.  It would be work every cent to use that time IN CLASS (evening if needed) at the local Tech school.  They go fast, and you'll learn tons in just a few weeks. The disipline is excellent too.

OR  just orde the book and set aside time to go through all it has to offer, page on page.
