  1. Why? What are you up to eh?

  2. The answer is , yes it can be disabled. If you disable, disconnect the battery etc, it is all recorded on an activity log which your employer will have access to. You would then have to provide a good excuse, very good excuse.

  3. I have 28 vehicles with them.  It is almost impossible without disconnecting.  Then I can see that it is not there, that will raise my suspicions and I will check the mileage!  16 of my vehicles are cars and vans, my fuel bills have increased $21K per month since Katrina.  If you are blessed with a take home vehicle, be thankful, many employer's are taking them away!  Don't endanger the privilege for yourself and fellow employees!

  4. What make?

depending on the make of tracker you have fitted to your van

a Tracker (be it basic, monitor or retrieve) is only switched on by tracker providing you've paid and only when its been reported stolen.

other makes like Trackstar use GPS and track your every movement at all times.

  5. it is permanently disabled until you report the vehicle lost or stolen then the police activate a special code to track it dont worry where ever your going they wont follow you until you want them too hope this helps

  6. above..it must be live perminantly to acsept the activation code....unless u have a word with the fitters then ide leave it alone....

  7. If your employer has installed a tracker and you aren't happy about it, you have two options; Put up with it or go and work for someone else.

Surveilance by management leads to bad feelings by employees, why do they do it?

  8. Park it in Liverpool, you'll soon find out.
