I had my eyes tested and I need a stronger prescription. This week, I get my new glasses, but whenever I put them on, it feels strange, I'm used to wearing glasses but these new ones feel weird, like they are too strong or something and ever so slightly out of focus, my right eye is normal but my left eye is knackered basically, so that is where the prescription is stronger, should I go back and have a re-test, or just keep going with them to get used to them? Also if I have to get a re-test, will I need to pay for it again?

  1. I just got new glasses this week too and I feel the same like they  are too strong, is annoying but I'm gonna give it a week, you should too!

If you have a retest you probs will need to pay for it again.

  2. Sometimes glasses do take a little while to get used to.  You can always call your optometrist and ask him/her how long it should take.  The optometrist or optician should have checked your lenses, but it is possible that it could be a wrong prescription or the lenses could be placed incorrectly in the frames.

  3. It's definitely too strong.

I had that problem once, my vision gotten worse after I got used to it, it must be the prescription.

  4. theyre gettin used 2 the new glasses

  5. there may have been a change in your eye sight go back to the opticians to rule out any underlying problems
