Just had second hand gearbox and new clutch fitted on my renault espace x reg and in 3rd gear it keeps slippin

Question

slipping out some times when foot off accelerater and going up hill and some times makes a noise when put it in 3rd gear is this a faulty gearbox or can this be fixed thanks andy

Internal gearbox job most likely - Guarantee? I hope so for your sake.

Anything can be fixed but it's time & money. New synchro for 3rd gear by the sounds of it.

Sorry you have a bad gear box syncronizers are out of third gear>Did you check for oil in it>>>

well id say first take it back its not right.. jumping out of gear is bad .. might be fix but you wont know til its look after
