Question:

Just had wisdom tooth on bottom right pulled a couple days ago, lots of swelling in face and now.....?

that the swelling is going down just a bit my right eye is looking pretty red and bloodshot...is this normal? Still lots of pain and VERY bad breath but everyone says that part is normal....but the eye? Is that normal?

  1. you better go to the Dr...I just had the same tooth pulled myself and it was really bad trying to get it all healed up...I think you need antibiotics..keep the inside of your mouth clean as possible ..swish with mouthwash but not hard enough to make the clot come out or you will really be in trouble....dry socket...ouch!  your eye being red worries me...go back and see your dentist...if its nothing than good...if it is you will have saved yourself a lot of suffering...good luck sweetie.


  2. I think you my have a  dry socket and need to see the dentist again cause they told me if this happened I would need to  come back, so they could help my gums heal correctly.

  3. they should have given you an antibiotic... are you taking it?

    if you're not, then you should (lol)

    and if you are, then you may have an allergic reaction.

    other than that, no it's not normal. i had all four adult molars pulled and nothing ever happened to my eyes. :/

    maybe your dentist could help you?
