Hmm, let's take a look at Hollywood for a little reference:

Liberals: Bono (activist), George Clooney (activist), Paul Newman (legend), Tom Hanks (modest gentleman), Steven Spielberg (genius), Martin Scorsese (creative).

Conservatives: Mel Gibson (a racist), Britney Spears (the definiton of irresponsibility), Jon Voight (nutjob)...

Average.  Some liberals are very intelligent  but they are single issue voters.  For example a feminist may say I will give you g*y rights, affirmative action,soft on crime, leniency for drug use etc. in exchange for you supporting abortion anytime.

Minority groups, criminals, drug users and homosexuals agree to the exchange.

It has more to do with your moral positions than your intelligence.

My guess is, with the advent of the internet, MTV, video games, etc. No one gets outside anymore and learns first-hand about street-hustlers and con men.

Do you know what the "Liberal line" is.  I doubt very much that you do.  But I am certain that you probably know the Hannitized version of it that is nothing like the real version.

Do some research on the subject with an open mind and you might figure it out.

The Liberal Lie has long been perpetrated by the radical Hollywood element for many years and for quite some time now the Media has also helped to perpetuate the lies. The liberal bias if often more of the stories that aren't covered than in the stories that are covered.

Personally, I think you have to be intellectually limited to honestly believe the liberal line. PS, I have some friends that believe in liberalism, but more often than not I find if you just make a statement and not credit it to a person, the lib will think it's great and logical, until they find out that a conservative uttered it, then the logic goes out the window and they bash the speaker. but all in all, libs mean well and we just have to keep on trying to educate them to the truth :)

I don't know exactly what you mean by "the liberal line", but I got a 1360 on my SATs, my IQ regularly measures in the 130s, and I have a double BA from a top 20 university.  And I'm voting for Obama.  

So maybe you have to be as dumb as me to realize that Republicans do not generally, and certainly not now, have the best interests of the American economy, environment, and welfare of the majority of its people in mind.  Maybe you have to be that dumb to understand that they have no clue and even less plan as to how to conduct an , informed, responsible, collaborative, and solution-oriented foreign policy which would ensure our security and safety, and the elimination of our real enemies.

Maybe you have to be as dumb as me to be as eager as I am to show the party of smear tactics, race-baiting, false moral superiority, and endless corporate welfare the door.

But I don't think so.
