  1. im probably not the most 'greenest' person, but ive done a lot. at my high school i tend to preach about helping the earth and im going to be getting a hybrid. and im also taking an hour from my parents every night to conserve energy.

  2. im thinking about spending more time on the green golf course. would that be green enough? i don't want to paint my skin green, as that would be dangerous. i could paint my house green, but that would look out of place don't you think? i did have a green carpet, but got rid of it. i know i'll just get green contacts and then everything will look green.

  3. I try and add 1 or 2 green practices into my household every year. This year I switched to cloth grocery bags and compact florescent light bulbs. I already recycle. We have an energy "star" home. We have a computerized thermostat that drops the temperature down at night and raises it 1/2 hour before we get up. I wash my laundry in cold water and only full loads. This is a good question, it really made me think.

  4. Im just a normal person and here's what I've done:

    1. Changed all light bulbs to CFL's.

    2. Bought energy and water saving front load washer.

    3. Bought energy saver refrigerator.

4.Only wash full loads of laundry on cold.

    5. Recycle everything possible.

    6. Give old clothes away instead of throwing away.

    7. Bought a Toyota Prius.

    8. switched to non-toxic cleaning supplies.

    9. Use Freecyle to give stuff away.

10.Switched to cloth menstrual pads (lunapads.com).

    11. Get car washed at a place that recycles water.

  5. Very green...could be greener though.

    We have....

    1. Switched to cfls

2.Insulated our home with blown cellulose insulation.

3.Installed a low flow shower head.

    4.Installed aerators on all faucets.

5.Barrel our rain, bath, laundry, and dish water to reuse in watering our organic deck garden.

    6.Compost.

7.Freecycle our unwanted furniture, clothes, etc.

    8.Recycle everything possible.

9.Installed ceiling fans in all rooms to cut down on our electric AC usage(a ceiling fan uses 75% less energy than AC)

    10. Line dry our clothes.

11.Keep our blinds open during the day to use the outside light rather than electricity.

    12.Buy only what we NEED.

    13. Instead of buying reusable bags; I make them from old clothes-I quilt them and make them sturdy enough to hold up to 25 lbs. each. That way the old clothes are getting a new life, and I didn't contribute to another bag needing to be made from a factory.

    14. I recycle glass jars(pickles, salsa, etc.) by using those to make my candles rather than buy brand new jars. Not only do we make money on the candles we sell, but we save another jar from being made.

    15. I make curtains, baby bedding, children's bedding,  adult bedding, etc. out of recycled clothes.

16We plan our trips rather than back tracking.

17.We wash our car on our lawn so we knock out 2 birds with one stone. We get the car cleaned and the lawn watered.

    18. We make our own cleaners. I know they sell "green" cleaners, but are they really 100% green? I'd rather save my money & make my own.

19.We collect aluminum cans, and steel soup cans & turn them in for cash, and recycle the rest. If I can reuse anything, then I do.

    20. We car pool for work, church, errands, etc.

I hope this helps. Take care & God bless.

  6. Perhaps 90%

I only use public transportation, I always recycle, and I never leave lights on when I don't need them. I guess that makes a big difference.

  7. Definitely not as green as I could be.

I recycle, and care about the environment, but I know that there is so much more that I should be doing.

  8. VERY GREEN .And not just on St. Patricks day.My money is green to.It will be used by    My BOYCOTT  OF ENY COMMERCIAL ORG.  which are completely insensitive to this  planet, and and all gods creatures.

  9. Actually I am quite white,  no tan lines yet.  Now my mother in law is Irish, does that count?

  10. Not green enough I'm sure. I want to pitch in and make a difference. I just need to figure out what more I can do.
