Just how hard is it?

Is STEP 2 in the asking a question sequence called *Categorize your Question* really that hard to follow?

Do they need to actually build a system that says "Hey man, this has nothing to do Hockey, ARE YOU SURE you want to put it in that section?"

It's not that hard to follow, just so easy to skip.

They need to just get rid of the suggested category page and just let you search for the section on your own.

HQ: Hank will score the first goal for the Wings.

yea really its not that hard to see that your questions is potentially going to be placed in the wrong section COME ON NOW PEOPLE!

im gonna go out on a limb and say Brooks Laich only becuase in the playoffs the first goal came from Brashear so anybody could do it.

I say take out the automatic question categorizing all-together. Yes, it'd be a pain in the **** for us, who only ever post in the hockey section, but it reduce virtually ALL the off-topic questions.

the bad thing is this new system actually tells you that you may be putting it in the wrong section...& asks "Are you Sure"....Boneheads!!!!

Haha, as soon as I read the question, I knew what it was about. Maybe there should be a button that instead of reporting a question, it submits that the Q is in the wrong section. If there's enough votes, it should be moved. When the hoser who asked it clicks on that question to view it, (perhaps after getting the "one of your questions needs your attention!" messages) the screen should look like it does when you go to ask a question and the categories are all there.

Hockey Answer: Jordan Staal, effectively sending the message, "I will be a shutdown center AND amass points this season... (if I know what's good for me)."

because i asked a question, put it in the hockey section: and it isn't even showing up in the hockey section batch of questions... but it shows in my profile that i asked it.

& i could see either Staal, Gonchar or Talbot scoring first goal.

You would think it would be easy. But then again, you look at some of the questions asked and realize many dumb bass people in the world.I have been suggesting that second "Are you sure ?" question for a few weeks. May cut down on a few misplaced souls anyway.
