Just how many vegans are there in America? What is your approximation?

i only know one vegan, my cousin. so probably about 1%

Vegans comprise 1 percent of 2-5 percent who are vegetarians in the US. For the current population of 300,000,000, that would mean 6,000,000 to 15,000,000 vegetarians of which 60,000 to 150,000 are vegans. that would mean a percentage of .02 to .05 percent.

Statistically, it is a very negligible number not making any impact at all.
