  1. It is exactly why we are here: to find spiritual puzzle pieces.  When you find one of these, something that can't completely be explained by words, but only felt, we have learned a life lesson.  And it will carry on into the essence of who we are. That is, when we die, that knowledge will carry on into our next lifetime, we will have that innate knowlege--that experience.

When we have had all of those "aw" moments,or even more subtle realizations, that is when we can consider ourselves "enlightened."  And then we will no longer have to incarnate, but sometimes do as a gift to humanity.

  2. If it stops you from marrying the wrong person very precious

  3. Hehehe.  I've had a few quick insights which, as it turns out, allowed me to -be- alive afterwards.

    Does that count? ☺

  4. If you accept the butterfly effect then yo understand that a single drop of water on a brick may hardly get it wet but a single drop of water in  an ocean may cause a tidal wave that will cause that brick to float away with the current.

The thought is to the closed mind, a moment's insight means nothing but to an open mind a moment's thought can move mountains and be a very useful tool.

  5. I know exactly what book I was reading, and what page I was on and what line it was, when the question of GOD occurred to me.

  6. You're looking at a very large scale. It could be nearly worthless or almost priceless, depending on just how insightful the insight is.

  7. It is moments that consist our lifetime.

An insight on the right moment, can change a whole lifetime. Can change our way of thinking, our attitude, lead us to a new path.

Yes, a moment's insight can be of much importance.

  8. That's true. A brief recovery from a kind of blindness, total and genuine harmony with self, a feeling you would wish to hold longer but soon dissipates the same way as it came.

I had one of these moments no far than yesterday as I was driving back home at dusk returning from a family gathering.

    Indescribable feeling indeed.

Thank you for asking this question.

  9. ...a lifetime of happiness or regret...

  10. We all learn from experience. That is one reason I love to talk to older people. Just love yourself, and others. Be kind along the way, and try not to hurt people. Learn from your mistakes, and just be happy for today! And, yes one moment of insight can make us stronger if we want it to. Keep good memories in your heart, and live for the moment.

  11. The moment when I look him in the eye for the first time,

    ...I saw my life.

That should be...my lifetime's precious moment.

  12. The precious moment is seen worth a life time when in reality the moment- is just that, a moment

  13. I had one of those moments recently... I can't even describe it without altering it. It was a moment like any other, I was in the most common of places possible, there was nothing special about the conversation... yet, it was the first time I felt that this is how the things should be, that this is normality and happiness, a moment when I felt even the language had such a density I could raise my hand and feel it...

  14. Priceless....
