  1. well if i took this picture i would FREAK OUT lol

  2. Sorry not scary

  3. Weird !! Almost convincing. I had something like this on  a picture in a house we had reasons to think a spirit was there. Didn't notice it in the picture for about a year. Thought it was just bad film....but it didn't appear in the other pictures. Don't know for sure if it's a spirit...but gave us the shivers..and glad we don't live there anymore. (I thought I saw a short old man get into my bed. He didn't seem to notice I was there. I froze....and others kept seeing an eyeball through the keyhole. They didn't know each other were seeing it too. No..there's no "proof"...it was just spooky.)

EDIT...T.R.....How could you not see the arms? He 's leaning sideways...the left arm is plain and day. I don't see how your breath could do this. Now that blue thing at the gas station is different than this one.

  4. The picture doesn't really scare me. However, the idea of being on a lonely isolated bridge in the middle of the night will at least make me leery of escaped criminals, vagrants, drug users, and anyone else thrill seeking with weapons. The living you should definitely guard against.

I had to look up the story on this bridge (link below) and it has many of the characteristics of an Urban Legend. I have also provided a link for information on Urban Legends.

I think the picture is mist from breath or from water vapors from the water under the bridge (possibly a combination).

What steps did you take beside pictures to investigate this bridge?

  5. nope...not even a little strange...i do that all the time with my camera when the temperature and humidity are at a right place...hey...maybe i could make a dollar or two...hmmmmm...

  6. not really scary

  7. Sorry, not scary - just made me feel really sorry for her. Instead of chasing this poor soul, how about they try to reach out to her to help her cross over to the other side?

They caught Emily's spirit on camera because she allowed it; she is old, lonely and is crying for help!

  8. Yes I can see the whole person but it looks like a picture of a stick person drawn by a 5 year old. I had to look up Emily's bridge as I live in Australia. Its interesting

  9. it's nothing...... sorry

  10. not scary...

  11. Not scary; sorry. I couln't see half of anything in the pictures. Given that the 'mist' was real; I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be afraid of...

  12. Can you please post a clear picture?  I can't see the scary part of the picture with that horrible fuzzy stuff all over it.

  13. cute, with a little imagination, you can imagine that that fog reflecting the flash is a body. Ive seen lots of good fog and cigarette smoke photos, but this is a good one.

It doesnt top the freeze frame of the twin towers where you can imagine you see the shape of satans head.

However, this is not paranormal. If you were not looking for ghosts, you would just assume that was fog. If you look for ghosts hard enough, you will always find them.

  14. TR has given a good answer but here is my two cents worth.

First of the temp is 3 degrees. You have multiple people running around a virtually enclosed environment. The water is less than ten feet below this bridge( I have seen this story before) At three degrees any warm breath will stick around for a few minutes, even if it looks like it has went away, a camera flash would show up the moisture like a flashlight! You place three or four people on this bridge breathing, your gonna get plenty of mist photos. Not to mention the mist rising from the creek below. Water at less than freezing with 3 degree temps is very condusive to fog. Next your in an old wooden covered bridge, your gonna get a lot of dust orbs. now had they got pics of a red orb or blue orb to contrast the dust orbs, then I might say it was interesting. These pics would not make it on to my site because they are too easily explained away. whats scary is that at 3 degrees, these people are dressed for florida temps!

  15. Not scarey at all. I hate to be a skeptic since I am a true believer, but I was not impressed with ghostly fog taken when it is 3 degrees outside. How am I supposed to know that was not peoples breath? Take their word for it?

Most orbs were transparent and indicating dust on lens or possibly in the air.  the glowing globes or orbs look like either distant signs or reflectors or a light source. I see that people are calling dust globes now instead of orbs. Dirt is dirt no matter what you call it.

I was impressed with the ghostly floating head without a body in photo number 10, but oh wait, that was one of the team in black clothing.

All joking aside you really need more convincing evidence than that and I am a true believer and not a skeptic at all.

    BB

    Edit:

I am not trying to upset anyone. You asked for opinions and that is mine. Again I am not a skeptic nor any kind of professional but a true believer.

  16. looks like cigarette smoke to me.... but respect for going to the bridge and not letting the hobos eat you!!

  17. u know i dont see it but ill tell u about a ghostly thing i have seen in a photo..a co worker went to umm an old battlefield somewhere, a famous one just cant think of it right now..took the photo of the camp or whatever used to be there and when got developed there was a fence where there was no fence it was very feint and u could see right through it..a white picket fence about 3 or 4 feet tall going all the way around...very very cool picture..hard to explain in print.

  18. I agree with some others that it is easily explained by physics.  I definitely believe in paranormal events, but this doesn't qualify in my book.  What concerns me is the way the people are dressed.  If that's -3 degree F...that's really cold, way too cold for bare heads and fleece jackets.  If it's -3 C, not as much of a concern, but I suspect it's F as it's in NJ?

  19. intresting

  20. I don't see the "outstretched arms". But mist photos are easy to generate with a flash camera at night when you're near misty areas when the temperature is near the dew point. Another way to generate a "mist ghost" is simply to breathe when it's cold out. Even if the mist from your breath isn't visible to your naked eye, it will be visible once the flash reflects off the tiny water droplets.

The link you provided says this photo was taken at night when the temperature was at 3 degrees. That's pretty chilly. I'm sure the photographer just got a picture of his breath here, that's all.

EDIT: Denie, I guess I have to use my imagination to see the arms. If nobody said anything, I never would have made that connection. Breath can do this because it creates a cloud of microscopic water droplets close to the lens of the camera. When illuminated by the bright flash, a "mist" is the natural result. One might see all sorts of shapes in suchs mists, just as people see all sorts of shapes in clouds.

  21. i read a a lot abt emily's bridge, she supposed 2 be crazy, thats why she hurts ppl crossing the bridge. the pic is a bit creepy, cant see the arms though.
