Just little tips on making car sound mean with a nice sound..?

I asked question not long ago..ppl saying get faster car than a saxo vtr...ppl around here have corsa's or pug 106 so surely saxo vtr compares right...Im not after a super car...i just want car with a nice mean sound and make mine lil faster than theres...Im not a boyracer....i just hate them showing off at lights and on roads with two lanesI etc... onli got saxo cause i like them Im not much for big cars...so tips guys...to stop theses guys tryin race me etc...kinda do my head in...

Get a nice back box (£40-£200) then remove the middle box and replace with a piece of pipe normally get free if you ask nicely at garage you are going to want to keep the old boxes as you might need them for your next MOT. If you know anything about cars then this is an easy job to do some times you need to weld brackets on the back box

New back box, induction kit, and maybe one of those turbo valve simulators. The faster they think You are, the more they will want to beat You.

Having a louder exhaust will in most cases make absolutely no difference to your car's performance.

You don't want to be displaying your car's ability & your driving skills off on public roads - Take your car to a track day & get to know what you & it can do in relative safety, then take some racing lessons, and then when the other children fancy a race from the lights, ask them to join you at a circuit for a day.

if you fix your car to show other drivers that you car is fast, they are going to find out just how fast it is.if you want fast and don,t want them to know, then just drive a plain jane and soup the engine up.

none of the cars you named are here in the states, not that it matters much. The best place to start is with different exhaust. You can find long tube or short tube headers, off road pipes (pipes with no cats) and use a mil eliminator to keep  the check engine light off. A different muffler and tips.
