Just mailed a letter to the usa, it includes 2 papers and 1 twoonie. Will two stamps work?

No I dont beleive 2 x 52 cents stamps will work. The twoonie makes the envelope somewhat heavier. Probably better to use at least $2 worth of stamps.

And its never a good idea to post coins or cash through the post - especially when it is crossing a border.

Letter to US $.96 Standard stamp $.52 So $.52X2=$1.04 which is greater than $.96. Not knowing how much a twoonie weighs I can not say for certain though but I think you are safe.
