  1. Just change your last name on your license and social security card. Congrats!!!

  2. All you have to do is go to SS office and fill out a name-change card and make sure to bring the marriage license with you to show them.

Then change your driver's license, also bring the marriage license.. I think it costs about $35 or something to make that name change.

Then you can tell your bank and employer.

  3. Take your wedding certificate with you to the SS office and get a new card.  Then go with your new SS card and certificate to the DMV and get your name changed there.  That will change it with the IRS and the state.  Then just get a name change form at your bank and employer (or you might be getting a new joint bank account too).

  4. you will need a copy of your birth certificate and your marrage certificate and take these to the dmv, and then the states office to change your ssc. congrats. your cc companies might require a copy of your new liscence ... good luck to you.

  5. Visit this site: http://www.namethatbride.com - it's got all the forms you need to fill out, which you can print for free, plus a checklist of all the places you need to inform. Good luck!

  6. go to the courthouse
