Ok, currently its predicted that our economic slowdown won't get better for at least three years. Obviously, it could slowdown even more, which it seems it will.

My question is since we are in an economic slowdown that will not get better for at least three years, where will these soon to be adults work in the next three years since job growth will be stagnant?

  1. You're assuming 100 percent of them were even trying to find a summer job.  What percent plan on spending the summer doing activities?  It's also harder to find a job a young person can be excited about at that age.  You pretty much have Mcdonald's, groceries, and retail if you're lucky.  Most places don't hire under 18.
