Can you put a both turbo and supercharger in a car? Whats the difference between the two?

  1. One is exhaust driven and the other is belt driven.

Yes you can, but due to the way that they opperate, you'll want to run the turbo into the supercharger.  A supercharger is spun by a belt off the crank shaft and can be a number of different configurations (twin s***w, roots, or turbine).  A turbo uses exhaust pressure to spin one turbine that is connected to another turbine that compresses your intake air..

  3. the difference between a turbo(charger) and a supercharger is a turbo uses the exhaust to spin a turbine which turns another that forces fresh air into the engine.A supercharger is driven by the engine mechanially ,by a belt mostly,which drives impellers which force fresh air into the engine

    I have heard of compounding turbos(turbo A compressing air into turbo B which compresses it more on its way to the engine) and also a turbo compressing air into a supercharger,but both set ups were on big diesel engines,
