Just passed my road test....?

Question

I live in new york i'm 16 years old my birthday was about a month ago i Took the 5 hour class a day after my birthday and i just passed my road test.

Am i able to drive from my house to work and back?

some of my friends told me i was not able to because it

is illegal or insurance wont cover me....

any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you have your drivers license and your parents added you to their insurance policy, you can drive.

if you have not done either of those two things, then you need to do that first before you can drive.

If you passed your road test, then you should be able to drive now.

You should check to make sure that you have driver's insurance though. If you're not covered yet then you should get that taken care of first in case of any accidents. It's a smarter thing to do.
