  1. you might be pushing yourselff too hard.

i never bled for more than 2 weeksafter wardss. definitely call your doctor and ask them.

  2. I was still bleeding at 6 weeks and I found out it was because I was doing too much. I have no help so I've been doing everything on my own. Try to slow down a bit and relax.

  3. How much are you bleeding?  Is it just a little bit or are you still using those huge pads?  If it is just a little bit (where you can use a light pantie liner), then it shouldn't be anything to worry about, but if you're still using those huge pads, then that isn't normal.

Either way, you should schedule your appointment with your OB now regardless of how much/if your are bleeding.

  4. I was still wearing pantiliners for about 8 weeks postpartum.  I never knew when it was going to happen, but it was still pretty much every day.

I went to 6 week check up right at 6 weeks and he wasn't concerned in the least.  It is completely normal to still be bleeding.  Go ahead and make your appointment so you can speak to your doctor about that and any other concerns you may have.

Hope all is going well :)

  5. I was bleeding for 6 weeks after having my baby and my Doctor said it was likely I had an infection, so I was given some antibiotics. I was fine afterwards, and I stopped bleeding before I got chance to take my tablets anyway. Its just that some people take longer to heal than others.

Don't wait till you have finished bleeding, go to see your Doctor just in case it is an infection- especially if it smells a little offensive.

  6. You need to REST more and not do so much - that's why. You should have been done at 3 weeks. Call Dr and let them know. Then PUT YOUR FEET UP and REST as much as possible.

  7. It can last anything from 2 weeks to up to six weeks so don't worry. Still go to your check up because it will give you the opportunity to discuss any concerns / worries. You won't be the first woman he's seen who is still bleeding and you won't be the last.
