Has anyone ever heard of "Sone" in regards to china dishes, plates, ect? On the bottom of every dish they have a date of 1963 in gold with gold trim around the edges of the plates, cups ect. I can get more details but, at work at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  1. My parents gave me a 12 piece set of Sone China a few years ago that they had bought back in 1959.  It was valued at $1500 when I had it appraised for shipping insurance.  If you were to sell it on ebay you should look for around $300--it's not a name brand for which most people will search.  For Japanese China it's something you can use casually and not worry about breaking.  If it were made in occupied Japan it would be worth more.
