Just saw a news story on CNN about 3 men arrested with guns and drugs....?

CNN says it an assassination plot against O'Bama, the chief of police says it isn't. Do you think the media wants O'Bama to get assassinated? Do you think the media is speeding up the downfall of our society? Do you think the media needs to be curbed?

Honestly I think the media is trying to make people feel sorry for Obama and get the sympathy vote.

But, yes I would say the media should be curbed.

I think that it is ridiculous that they are saying that the man with the rifles and ammo did not pose a "credible threat" to Obama.  In what world?  The media has nothing to do with it.  The guy has ties to white supremacist groups and said that he was planning to kill Obama.  You have a plan, an admission, and the means to accomplish that mission, so why is that not a "credible threat?"  I don't think that the media wants Obama assassinated--what kind of sociopaths do you think are running things, anyway?  Personally, I don't agree with his politics, but, from what I have seen, he is a good husband and father and has created a good life for his family.  He should be able to see his daughters grow up, walk them down the aisle, and grow old with his wife.  The media could not make me feel otherwise.  I do think that the media should be curbed if it is a misrepresentation, for sure, but in this case, from what I've read, it is at worse and exaggeration.
